Mia has never taken more than two steps without support, but yesterday evening, she decided it was time to let us in on her secret: she has been practicing behind our backs for weeks. I'm certain of it, because her premiere showing was a casual stroll across the room- not at all what I'd image her first independent steps to be.

Um, that is pretty good for a first attempt. And I am in the middle of David Copperfield and falling in love.
